I'm using:

HTMLMapMaker v1.04.01
Dnn 9
Chrome, FF and Edge

'On Mouse Over' section in the map edit it says...
Enter the JavaScript command to be run on mouse over (several to be supplied on next upgrade)
Is there going to be a "next upgrade"?
Can you give me an example of what js code to put in this box please?

The following code in the 'Over content template' box...

[Content]

...shows up as code underneath the map on a rendered page when the hotspot is moused over.

Mousing over the hotspot shows the highlighted area in orange, as it should, but the hover content is not displayed.
The link though does work.

The following code is in the source of the rendered page...

...and the js onemouseover and onmouseout code is also in the source code.

I've tried lots of things to get this to work, but I'm coming up empty. So far it appears as though this module is exactly what I need, if I can just get it to work.

Here are some screen caps.

What am I missing?

Thanks
Bob

Hello Bob,

We're investigating on your issue.

We manage to reproduce some of your problems on DNN 9.

For information, the module's documentation is available here (on our website, in Product > Download).

Hi Team,

Thanks for looking into this. Hope it can be resolved soon.

And thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the manual.

I looked at the docs page on your site but it didn't include the manual for this module.

The link in your email went to a login page.

I then realized that there were more manuals available when logged in and so now have the manual for the module.

This will be a great help help in understanding it.

Bob

Hello Bob,

Good news : we managed to resolve your issue.

We'll send you the corrected version at the email address you used to create your Aricie account.

Please let us know if it indeed solve your issue, or if you encounter any other problems.

Also, concerning the text only showing in edit mode : you need to check the option " Show Hotspots Text " in the module settings (see screen capture below).

Hi Team,

Got it installed and it works great!

Thank you very much!

A couple of requests. Is it possible to change the following...

Auto hide over content > Set default to checked
Action type > Display Html content > Set default to Rich text editor

If not, no biggy.

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob,

Glad we resolved your issue smiley

Concerning text editors : the default value is chosen according to your profile's preference. If you pick the rich text editor, it will automatically remember for the next time.

Also, the unchecked auto-hide content can be useful to users testing their mouse over configuration, so we'll keep it unchecked. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion !
