error viewing report

I get the following error when I try to view my report:

Failed to open the connection. Failed to open the connection. Payment tracker3 {D34ECBB8-8474-4F59-9B83-F0C073A7DDDA}.rpt

Could you tell me what may be causing this.

Re: error viewing report

Hello,

Can you make sure that your connection informations are correct. You can test your database connection informations using crystalReportViewer's edit control.

Re: error viewing report
Have you moved your report on another environment after its creation, or is it located on the same environment ? If you did so, the new environment has to have access to the initial ODBC.

Re: error viewing report

The report was indeed moved from its initial environment to the current one now.  However, when I view the report inside crystal reports in the current environment I can see it with no problems, only when I try to view it inside the module I get the previously mentioned error.

Re: error viewing report
What if you try to update your report data source in crystal report (DataBase -> Set datasource Location) ?

Re: error viewing report

ok, so clearly the report has to be generated from the local crystal reports.  I got rid of the error by creating a new report on the local server; however, the report is showing fine in crystal reports, and blank in the module.  What may cause this?

Re: error viewing report
Can you be more specific, is there anything displayed in crystal viewer (parameters for instance), any error message ? Which browser are you using ? Have you tried to open the report with IE ?

when I run the report, all I see is the heading of the report and white space.  Nothing else.

You might have an IIS virtual directory named 'crystalreportviewer12' or something similar. Can you make sure that this virtual directory has "Scripts only" executions permission.
