Getting the same error described above. Just bought it and installed on a 4.9.2 sandbox site.
now the site wont load at all
http://sandbox.primalfx.com/
installed the 32bit version... our web server is 64bit, would this be the problem?
Hi,
It's not the same error because yours results from using 32 bit version on 64bit server.
In order to repair your website, you have to remove file 'MagickNet.dll' from 'bin' folder.
Then, we'll give you access to download area where you could obtain latest 64bit version.
Thanks for your support.
i've reinstalled with the 64 bit version and now i get this error
http://sandbox.primalfx.com/PageFlip/tabid/78/Default.aspx
Could you report entire log ?
Did you install Aricie.Shared which is free required components for all our modules ?
the shared component did it. Now I dont understand why i cannot bulk import my PDF in the 64bit version. I have to admit that is pretty dissapointing. Is there no way around this?
Aricie.shared is a set of libraries necessary to all Aricie modules to function properly. This is clearly emphasized in the product factsheet on Snowcovered. Sorry for the inconvenience though.
PDF import only works on 32-bit OS (also mentionned in the factsheet).
We still hope the module answers your need and appreciate your support. Please feel free to contact us.

Hi Thomas,
I just moved a client site from a 32 to 64 bit machine. Of course this did not work out as expected. Me posting this forum means that I found the issue, but are still worried about the pdf import option (which my client uses). Can we expect a 64bit version in the near future?
Peter
Hello Peter,
moving PageFlip to a 64-bit-version has been on the roadmap for a while. Yet the module uses MagicNet from ImageMagick which is 32-bit compliant only. Would you know any similar component that we could use and that would allow 32-bit AND 64-bit? In that case, we can develop the upgrade fairly quickly for your client. Otherwise, we'll do the research but the next release of PageFlip is not planned yet.
Regards
Thomas
Remember that the 32 bit version works perffectly fine on a 64 bit server so long as you enable 32 bit apps in your application pool in IIS7. I was worried about this point as well, but it works great.
