Hello, I encountered a problem using the Product Search function (as a User).

Issue description: when I use the Catalook Search module and type some string that contains special characters -> it comes back with the transformed script. By this behavior the result list will be empty.

For example I search for this: "elektroncső" and the catalook makes a search for the string: "elektroncso".

If I am logged in as a host the URL Rewrite is turned off so that the search result list contains items properly. But as a user I can't run reliable searches.

Can you, please, help me to avoid this issue?

In case of anyone else is facing this issue, I managed to sort this out:

The solution is to change the Catalook settings in the way of when you make a search in the CAT_Search module, let have the Catalook redirect to another page where search results are listed. Finally, set the FUP module not to apply any rewriting rules in this particular Page.

Hello,

What you did would be the recommended way to have the search be correctly implemented since Catalook apparently uses the search value n the url. As we cannot change how Catalook works, it is best to disable the search from being rewritten. Congratulations on finding this out.
