    Hello,

We are trying to setup HTML Map Maker module, and after image assigning for mouse over effect on hotspots we are seeing yellow colored rectangle available on the map in addition with attached image. The rectanlge includes hotspots area only. Can you suggest what should be done to not show that rectangle and only have visible assigned hotspot image on mouse over effect?

    Our setup:
    DNN: 07.00.00 (1586)
    Aricie - Shared: 1.6.7
    Aricie.HtmlMapMaker: 1.3.17

    Thanks in advance!

      Hello,

I think the rectangle you mentioned is the hotspot shape you had drawn and its color is yellow. (Please tell me if i were wrong)
Now you can hide this shape for hotspot by configuring HTMLMapMaker options:
      - Go to Settings of the module added in you page (right corner of module in DNN7)
      - Go to HtmlMapMaker Settings > Configuration > Default Map Layout
      - Uncheck Show Hotspots Layout and the hotspot shape you have drawn will be hidden

Let us know any other issue

      Best regards,
      NGUYEN Van Duc

        Thanks for your reply!

Yes, we also noticed that setting and that is not checked there. The only selected setting in "Default Map Layout" section is "Show Hotspots Image" one.
We did not create/draw that shape, is that going to be created automatically when you draw hotspots by using points?

        Thanks again!

When you create a new hotspot, in the Image Map HotSpot Edition > Draw Hotspot section, there are 4 Rectangle, Circle, Polygon and Polyline. Did you choose Rectangle?

In the Image Map HotSpot Edition > Content > Hotspot Color section, did you choose a customized color (yellow)?

No we were using its default value - Rectangle. And we did not choose any color customization.
Anyway, it seems we found what was creating the problem. The Map's main image has transparent sections and Hotspot sections images also had transparent sections, it seems that was creating somehow problems. When we changed Map's main image from transparent to white the mentioned issue went away.

            Thanks much for your effort.
