    Hello,

    I updated to DNN version 05.02.03 several months ago but just recently discovered a problem with our pageflip module. When I attempt to adjust the Settings (to change user permissions) it throws the following error out to the page:

    A critical error has occurred.
    Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

    I don't believe this problem existed prior to the update to the newer version of DNN and I haven't used the module again since being on 5.xx. I have two different sites both with the module on 05.02.03 and both are displaying the same error message. Is there an updated module for DNN 5.xx? I am currently using PageFlip version 4.6.0 on both portals.

    Thank you for any advice you can provide. I will paste the full error log from the event viewer below.

      Hello,

      Yeah, it's normal : cause DNN configuration have a rule which is : when you install DNN in your machine , if you don't change passeword of Host user in 24 hours : DNN will not give you permission to do it after;

      So i propose to you, to reinstall totally DNN and a quick configuration, and then i think it have to work...

      Good Luch.

        Hello,

        seems like your PageFlip version is really ancient. Please renew your membership (Silver) here to get access to PageFlip 5.00.03.

        Regards

           Excellent, thank you for the advice! I had not seen the Aricie Shared application before and it is not installed on either of our sites. Could that be another possible cause of the issue? As far as I know we have never had any issues until now that would indicate that the Shared portion of the module would need to be installed.

          Our organization only purchases through snowcovered, is the version for sale there the newest version that you recommended?

          Thanks again for your assistance.

            You get all the information on PageFlip here as well as a demo and a link to purchase a package.

            In the latest version, you get autosize option and possibility to import PDF into a flip book.

            Why purchase a package on our site rather than a single module on Snowcovered? Well, for the same price ($50), you get access for 6 months to the latest versions of all Aricie's simple modules (PageFlip, HtmlMapMaker, SimpleSignIn...).

            To purchase a Silver package, please go to Subscription area.
