    Hello Aricie,

I have downloaded and installed the trial version of FUP. The setup worked well, I have installed the provider, the cofig screen states the provider to be up and running correctly but after enabling FUP there is no visible change on my webpage.

For testing I use a broswer on another machine with no user logged in to my dnn portal. So there shouldn't be any conflict with the Administrators rule.

When navigating through my menu and opening pages I still get the old scheme of URL, like

       http://www.swyx-forum.com...efault.aspx?tabid=54

I can manually manipulate that URL to

       http://www.swyx-forum.com/community/forums.aspx

and will end up on the same page. But when navigating through my forum I will also do not get any friendly URL allthough rewriting for the forum module is enabled.

Do you have any hint for me on where to look ?

    Thanks, Tom.

      Hello Aricie,

I would really like to use and buy your url provider, as it seems fantastically working from this site here. But I definately need some help to get it up and running.

I would be very pleased if you could get back to me, either here or by private mail.

      Thanks in advance,

      Tom.

        Hi,

I will try to assit you in solving your problem.

The module reverse to native unrwritten urls in 2 cases:

        • When the config says so in some place, but you seem to be aware of that (cf admin disabled)
        • When there's an exception raised during the url generation process

        Can you:

        • attach here or email us an export of your config so that we check everything is place (that would be a regular module export for the portal config + the .config file at the root of the module directory for the host config)
        • check in the DNN event log if there are any exceptions being logs. You may also enable debug mode, which logs additional information ("DEBUG" log type must be enabled in the event log viewer)

In the mean time, we will be releasing an updated version shortly.

        Regards
