Hi,
When I use the skinobject in my skin and when I enter a search word (which I know, that yields results), the search results are not shown, but the input box is shown with the search word entered in the input box of the skin object. Is there anything I should configure, so the results are immediately shown?

Our module provide its own skin object. Did you replace core skin object with it in your current skin ?
You could make it by adding those 2 lines :
