    Hi,

When I have a page and I rename it or move to another level in my website the old url keeps working and after a while the new url is used.

I have a DNNArticleFriendlyURL develop by Aricie:

When I rename my article title the old url is being used. The new url is never being used.

Example: Title: Centen Voor Vrijwilligerswerk (Article ID 109)
New title: Centen or Vrijwilligerswerk (Article ID 109)

    URL: http://large.jongerengids...lligerswerk-109.aspx

When visiting the same article the url is never changed.
When are URLS added to the FUP database? Because when I change the article name the article is not visitable via the new title in the url.

Another item: When I change the article title the article is not found anymore. Shouldn't the article only be based on the ArticleID and or the TABNAME ID ?

    Regards,

    Ely

       Hi Ely,

after looking at this issue, indeed there seems to be a small bug we need to fix on the module. The team is on holiday for now for a week. We'll release a new version when we are back in early January. Sorry for the inconvenience.

      Greetings from all the team.

        Hello,

Indeed the articles titles are cached by the DnnArticleRewriter. I will fix this bug in early january, but in the meantime you can refresh the rewritten urls by restarting your site.

        Regards

        Aurélien

          Ok, thank you.

But how do I solve the issue that the wrong URLS (replaced by the new on a restart as you say) are recognized by Google as the new URLS? (a 302 redirect?). I see the is a possibilty to set a 404 to a 410 to let Google know that URL does not exist anymore, but it would be better that it's redirect to the new URL.

          Regards,

          Ely
