    Hi,

We've got our dnn installation under a subdirectory of our domain, ie: http://www.sitename.com/dnn/ gets you to the main portal of our dnn installation.

We've installed Friendlier URL on this portal and all works perfectly.

We've just added a child portal to this site:

    http://www.sitename.com/dnn/child

...which works as expected but once Friendlier URL has been enabled (with it's default rules) the server sets the browser off into an infinite loop. When requesting the page the browser gets redirected to http://www.sitename.com/dnn/child/en/home.aspx which immediately gets redirected to http://www.sitename.com/dnn/child/en/home.aspx (i.e. the same page).

Please can someone shed some light on why we might be getting this issue?

    Many thanks,

    Derek

        Hi Derek,

Which versions of DotNetNuke and Friendly URL do you use ?

      Regards,

        Hi,

It's DNN 5.6.2, Aricie Shared 1.5.8 and Friendlier URL 2.1.6

        Thanks,

        Derek

            Hi,

I've been doing some further invesigation into this problem, we've updated both Aricie modules (Shared 1.6.1 and Friendlier URL 2.2.0) and DNN (to 5.6.6). Unfortunately the problem is unchanged

Have you had any luck with the testing at your end?

            Many thanks,

            Derek
